  1. I am seven months pregnant and I have toddler twins. So there is a lot of stuff on my floor, and I’m not able to easily pick it up! This is a great tool for picking up toys, books and such. Today I even used it to pick up a banana (very carefully). I also use it for tasks like removing laundry from the dryer. I love this thing. I could use one in every room.

  2. I’ve owned and used this Nabber for a couple months, and it appears to be a sound investment. The product is advertised with an aluminum handle. However, the handle is NOT aluminum! It is hard plastic, but it feels durable. This tool feels pretty solid overall and looks like it will stay together and function as intended. Having researched many models, I was alerted to consider whether a cord or a wire was used to operate the jaws. Cord may have a tendency to stretch out and render the jaws unable to fully close when the handle is pulled, according to some reviewers. This Nabber appears to have a wire to draw the jaws, which should eliminate or highly reduce any such stretching. (With the jaws fully closed, the handle can only be depressed another one-eighth inch; so any stretching or other maladjustment could quickly affect the ability of the handle to draw the jaws fully closed.) The jaws have good, precise alignment and contact, and seem durable. I’ve easily picked up a dime, an M&M, etc. It handles food cans easily. The jaws are at an angle of about 30 degrees from the pole, which I hadn’t deduced from the picture. As I looked at many models with the small suction cups, such construction seemed to be a weak link. Several reviewers of those models agreed that the cups may degrade or fall off. No such problem with this tool. And, I’d have to see someone pick up a dime with 2 soft suction cups to believe it. I’d also predict the rubber-coated metal ‘teeth’ of this Nabber will outlast the suction cups by a long shot.

  3. These are advertised for janitorail stuff and picking up trash and stuff. But I got it because I’m short and didnt want to have to keep hauling a step stool around my kitchen and laundry area. These things are great for grabbing extra papertowels, tissues off the top shelf. Tin cans too. While I do pick up glass sauce jars, you really need to be careful, a good squeeze on the grip and stay steady that the jar doesnt spin on it’s edge, it could slip. I have not had that problem happen to me, but an elderly person with a weak grip should not grab a heavy glass jar with it. plastic peanut butter jar would be fine.

  4. I have had two other grabbers before and this one rocks my world! I just got done with a heavy-duty abdominal surgery where bending is a challenge. This grabber has helped me keep my footing at times (not recommended as a cane, but I have leaned on it a little) and has reached places where other grabbers cannot go.

The construction is awesome and the accuracey (preciseness) of this grabber is fantastic. Would I trust it taking a jar off of a shelf? I don’t think I would trust any grabber for that. This one is perfect reaching for that kleenex you dropped, keys, cell phone, whatever. It’s really a nice grabber.

    Highly recommended.

  5. This thing has saved my back and spirit. Great for picking up toddler toys off the floor: Blocks, hotwheels, puzzles pieces, action figures………
