Sugarcraft Flowers: 25 Step-by-Step Projects for Simple Garden Flowers

I purchased this as part of my continuing ed budget for my shop, and although they advertise that it is simple, I was hoping for a little more simple. I am not one to purchase every cutter and veiner just to make a few flowers, so I was hoping for a more universal approach. This book is beautifully illustrated and I am sure I could use it to make every flower they feature. I’m just not sure I want to.
This book is a must have for cake decorators who make flowers. As with all Alan Dunn books it is beautifully presented. He is truly the master of flowers in sugar.
Claire Webb’s work will amaze even the most skilfull sugarcrafter. A very helpful book to learn the right way of flower making and also to delight yourself with your own creations.
I thought this book was great. It has wonderful full color step by step instructions and some inspiration pieces to try. Also opened up the door for foilage that I never even knew about.
Te book is not bad, but it’s not that good eather. Is shows a lot of different flowers, and it also has a very detailed instructions with pictures. In spite of this, I don’t recommend this book to anyone without some experiance in flower making. My advice: find another book (or someone), to teach you some basics, and then get this one, to learn how to make your flowers more realistic.
Good luck…
