  1. Until Now, Raking Leaves Guaranteed Back Pain For Me!

I’ve tried different types of rakes in the past to lessen the discomfort in my back during my leaf gaithering chore each year. With all of those other rakes, when you lower the rake and reach with each forward stroke, you put your back in a 45 degree angle (or more) and pull yourself even lower as the rake digs into the grass under the leaves on the way back towards your body. The problem is that your un-supported lower back naturally has to stiffen to provide leverage for the raking motion and maintaining balance. But now, with this rake, I’m able to actually change the angle of the rake and eliminate the need to bend my back at all. Imagine standing up perfectly straight and gathering huge piles of leaves in only two-thirds the time! Or, if you prefer, you can flip the rake head 180 degrees and push your leaves into piles. No back bending! No back pain! And with the telescoping handle, it’s like having a tool that’s custom made for my arm legnth and my height. For me raking leaves is no longer an issue of work and pain management. It’s now a lot less work (it’s actually fun) and it takes a lot less time to get it done! The only drawback or negative is that you have to be carefull not to let the rake hit the ground when you are moving it in a direction opposite of the angle of the rake tines. Do it hard enough and they will break off. On the other hand, I plan to buy a couple more of these anyway before somebody makes a stupid corporate decision and stop making them.
