French Country Indoor Herb Garden Trio Gift Set
I bought this as a gift for my daughter and I was there when she opened it. She loved it, it’s really nice, she loves growing herbs and the little pots are beautiful.
The blue pots that the plants come with are pretty cute.
Unfortunately the peat type soil that the plants are supposed to be grown in is apparently not conducive to plant growth. I tried for months to grow the plants and even replanted some seeds when nothing grew. After many months of regular watering (apparently that’s all you’re supposed to do) and moving to the best spots of sunlight one of the pots grew plants and I saw the stirrings of life in a second.
These grew to approx. 4 inches, withered, grew yellow and died. A strange white fungus like layer formed on top of the peat soil. I threw the entire thing out and have kept the blue pots and blue tray in the hope of trying smg else.
Do not buy this. It will not grow.
I bought this as a gift and have not had a chance to speak with the person I gave it to. I was impressed with the quality of the product. The color was what I had hoped for a very deep blue.
Accurate description and photos. Small enough for a window sill, but large enough to grow the herbs. Makes a good gift.
Lighting fast shipping and great packaging. This product is beautiful… the picture accurately shows the striking blue ceramic pots, and the seeds provided germinated in 4 days… I’ve got parsley and some other stuff (I just wanted something pretty for my window) and I’m so excited that I haven’t killed these things off yet. The great thing about these plants being in the kitchen window is that I am always reminded to water them (the sink is only 13 inches away!)
I love it, and I think that this is a super deal!
