The seller of this book was very quick to send it and I received it in less than 10 days. My son and I had decided at the last minute to plant a garden, so by time we received it, we were already moving ahead with the project. However, it did arrive in time for us to get some good use out of it. We found information that we were not aware of, such as planting cucumbers with your corn to help discourage the raccoons, not planting our tomatoes near the potato patch, using herbs and flowers to protect certain other plants, and etc. The garden is in, now all we have to do is to watch, weed, water and wait to see how all this plays out. I am sure that most novice gardeners will find this book as interesting and useful as we have.
This book gave me most of what I was looking for, that is, what vegetables should be planted together to get the best growth and prevent pests. I was mainly interested in a vegetable garden and this book covers everything, flowers, shrubs and vegetables. Maybe the additional information will be useful at a later date
