BGT Long Reach “Cut and Hold” Pruner

Wow baby, this is the best tool yet. I have seen them at the flower shows, but never bought one. Looked on Amanzon and found this one. Looked at a retail shop and one like it was $110.
I saw one of these at a demo garden show. It is really neat for reaching inside the rose bush and not getting scratched. And it holds the cutting from falling to the ground. It’s pretty strong and has a nice long handle. I used it to trim a very tall rose and it worked great. And it works for cutting flowers that you can’t quite reach. A marvelous idea. A must have for your garden tool inventory.
I was looking for a tool to keep my backyard pond looking neat. This was just the tool I needed to prune the leaves and spent blossoms on the waterlilies in my pond. The extension is good without being floppy and the ‘hold’ feature really works.
Highly recommend.
Bought this a week ago, tried to use it for a couple of hard-to-reach shrubs. Discovered immediately that it will not cut anything over about 3/8 inch, and only if it’s on the soft side. The head swivels a bit to easy which makes it hard to guide at full extension. The clasp on the bottom annoyingly kept locking on me after making a cut. The only thing positive I can say about it is that it does allow you to reach a fair distance. Probably good for roses are something with pretty small stems.
